Beginning in 1997 at Washington State University under the direction of Bruce Barritt, the effort cost $10 million. Cosmic Crisp is the result of 20 years of dedicated research to create the perfect apple. It was born to become a true legend, and only select farms around the world are honored to grow it.

The creators of the variety are Keith Evans and Bruce Barritt. We create ideal conditions for it, carefully monitoring every stage of its growth, as if watching the birth of a new star.
