Warm grilled sandwich with Spartan apple and aged cheese

2026-06-30 21:35 Spartan

This is a hot sandwich with a contrast of textures: crispy toasted bread, melty aged cheese and warm apple slices.

The Spartan variety gives this dish an interesting flavor and texture. It has juicy pulp, soft sweetness and subtle sourness with a slight berry tint. Briefly roasting the apple slightly caramelizes around the edges and retains its firmness, juiciness and crunch.

This is a quick and easy hot sandwich that can be prepared at home in 10-15 minutes.

It's a dense, high-calorie sandwich—and that's where its strength lies. It fits well:

Cheese and bread give satiety and energy, and the apple adds juiciness and slight sourness, making the taste lighter and fresher. Spartan balances and adds natural sweetness without sauces or sugar.
